Scouts from the 77th Leicester went on County Scout camp last month and made this great video!

Eight Explorer Scouts from Charnwood District were presented with the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver awards at a special presentation evening, held at Leicestershire Scouts Headquarters.

To complete each award the Explorers had to take part in a voluntary service, physical activity,
practical skill and an expedition challenge in wild country. It is an achievement they will remember
for the rest of their lives and will be recognized by potential University's and employers.

The awards were presented by Simon Cole, Chief Constable for Leicestershire Police and Vice
President for Leicestershire Scouts. Before presenting the awards Simon praised all the young
people for their hard work and thanked all the parents and the Leaders for the support they have
given to help them achieve the award.

Congratulation to Luke Dormer, Ashleigh Eddy, Stephen Staples, Benjamin Gane, Emma Toman, Callum Fowler, Timothy Staples and Joshua Walker.
