Beavers across the District came together to take part in this years swimming gala!
All ages and abilities were able to take part and every Beaver got to take part in every race. We had the traditional races of front breast stroke and back stroke, but we also had some exciting races with pushing a football with your nose, races on floats and keeping a duck balanced on your head as you went across the pool.
All the Beavers had a fantastic time racing each other and being in the water, but there could only be one colony that won the event and the winners of our 2024 swimming gala was….. Woodhouse Eaves!
A big well done to them and all the Beavers for taking part. Also a huge thank you to all the Leaders and our pool volunteers who were in the water supporting the Beavers across the pool.
