We’ve only just started the new year and already young people in the District are gaining awards!
At a presentation evening earlier in the week Jack, Dom & Billy from Barrow Scouts were awarded their Chief Scout Gold award, the highest award they can achieve as Scouts.
Along side them receiving his Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award was Matthew, an Explorer from QWEST. The awards were presented at the County Scout HQ by Mrs Diana Thompson, the High Sheriff of Leicestershire.
This is a brilliant start to 2019 and we can’t wait to see how many more young people will achieve top awards this year!
