Rothley Beavers celebrated the end of term by having a joint section meeting at the Oaks Campsite, taking part on the adventurous Jungle Trail and raced down the hill on the grass sledges.
After activities they were joined by ADC Beavers Mr T for a campfire where they sang all of their favourite campfire songs including the penguin song and English country garden – aka the Poo Song!
If that wasn’t enough there was an investiture of a new Beaver and nearly 700 badges presented! That’s right the Beavers have been working hard this term and between them they gained nearly 700 badges, which included some special Section Leader Recognition Awards and 12 Chief Scout Bronze Awards.
Congratulations to all the Beavers on all the badges they have gained, we hope you have a well deserved rest over summer!
