Saturday saw the return of a favourite district event, the Beaver and Cub football tournament!
The Cubs where up first with three leagues with the top four teams going into the semi finals then the grand final. The matches where well played and each team tried their best but in the end it came down to two teams, one from Rothley and one from Quorn. After a nail biting final we had our winner…. Congratulations Quorn!
Next up it was the Beavers, at their first major event of the year. Like the Cubs they had several matches to find the top four teams to go into the semi finals and the final. The Beavers final was a very close but our 2022 Beaver Champions where Rothley! The Beavers winners trophy was presented by a special visitor, Charlie Charnwood!
