Rothley Beavers had a great end to the term with a visit from Pork pie makers Brockleby’s.
Both colonies came together to spend the night creating their very own pork pies, the night started with putting on the glamorous hair nets and aprons then it was time to make pies!
Under the expert guidance of Master Pie maker Claire the Beavers flowered the tables and moulded their pastry around a traditional dolly. Once they had successfully made their pie bases they were filled with local pork from Packington Free Range and pie lids put on.
Each Beaver got to take their pies home to bake and eat!
