We’re riding along on the crest of the wave

We took to the waters last weekend for the District Raft Race. Teams of Scouts and Explorers arrived at Syston Sailing Club to build there rafts then race them across the lake.

Each team took it in turn to race each other starting at one side of the lake, paddling out and round a buoy and then over to another pontoon to finish the race, all without sinking. The team that completed the race in the fastest time where declared the winners.
