The weekend saw a full day of sporting action with the Beavers and Cubs football tournament and the Scouts Unihoc competition.
First up for the day were the Cubs, playing several action packed heats with many goals being scored left and right before a final match on a full sized pitch to find out who the winning pack was. There could only be one winner and this year the Cubs champions were Quorn!
After the Cubs it was the turn of the Beavers, again they played each colony having many matches and lots of smiles as they each tried to be the top team. This years Beaver winners were none other than Woodhouse Eaves.
Finally it was the turn of the Scouts for their adrenaline fuelled unihoc matches. Sticks flying, and occasionally breaking, impressive skills and sheer determination on each players face as they wanted to win the competition. Our Scout unihoc competition winners for 2024 were Woodhouse Eaves! (They are definitely a very sporty group!)
Thank you to all the groups for taking part and thanks to our referees, Tim, Matt, Chis and special thanks to our final ref Steve who after refereeing our matches for 17 years is hanging up his whistle.
