Rothley Scouts played a huge role in the community at the annual village Christmas Light Switch on. The groups trustees, exec, Leaders and young people came together to put on games and stalls in the Scout hut to help raise funds for the group and support the community. The most popular stall of the evening was Santa’s grotto which had families from across the village coming to meet Santa and get their present lists in and come away with a small pre-Christmas gift.

The evening was also great for the group to go out and about meeting members of the community too to tell them about Scouting in Rothley and thank them for their support. It looked a huge success for the group and the village, and we can’t wait to see what they have planned for 2023.
