Back in September the Oaks Scout Campsite challenged both Charnwood and Loughborough Districts to create acorn plaques for their brand new gateway.
Today at the Oaks open day the first of the acorns were put up and they look fantastic! Thank you to all the sections who sent their acorns and came to the open day to see them get put up.
Also a special thanks to campsite warden Paul who spent most of the day up the ladder securing each acorn.
If you haven’t yet completed your acorn, don’t worry there is still time and when it’s completed contact Ben the Oaks booking secretary on bookings@oakscampsite.org.uk to arrange for your acorn to be added to the gateway.
