We had our first event for Squirrels! Members of our three drays in Barrow, Mountsorrel and Quorn went on a coach trip to Wheelgate Theme park.
When we arrived at the theme park we were greeted by the parks mascots before heading off for a VIP play session with ferrets and the chance to hold some creepy crawlies and see some other exotic animals. Next they had an exclusive session meeting some owls where they the owls flew between them and some of the Squirrels even got to hold them!
The for the rest of the day the Squirrels spent their time at the indoor play and on all the exciting rides at the park before heading home.
All the young people had a brilliant time for their first trip and we can’t wait to do another one!
