Our first Squirrel Drey opened this week at Barrow! Squirrels is the new section being rolled out in Scouting for 4-6 year olds.
Squirrels meet for one hour sessions each week and provide a brilliant opportunity for young people to take their first step into being part of Scouts, and they’ll help everyone get ready for the adventure of school too.
Squirrel nights will be packed with outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life.
The new section would not have been possible without the support of the amazing leaders who volunteered plan and deliver such an inspiring programme.
The first night at Barrow was one full of games, crafts and stories. We can’t wait to see all the exciting things that our new Squirrels get up to!
